{"id":247,"date":"2020-09-01T15:15:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T12:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/?p=247"},"modified":"2021-05-13T14:41:01","modified_gmt":"2021-05-13T11:41:01","slug":"fond-kultury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/en\/fond-kultury\/","title":{"rendered":"CULTURE FUND"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>One of the goals of the\nCultural Strategy Institute (CSI) is to create the Lviv Culture Fund &#8211; a\ncompetitive program of additional opportunities for the cultural environment:\ninstitutions, independent players, artists, people of culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is the Culture Fund for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>solve the problem of underfunding of basic infrastructure and cultural products;<\/li><li>create mechanisms for financing cultural initiatives on a competitive      and independent basis;<\/li><li>provide priority support for innovative projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The source of revenue and the financial basis for the operation of the fund may be a fixed interest rate of excise tax on the sale of excise goodsby retail entities: alcohol and tobacco. This tax fully remains in the local budget and is distributed locally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" src=\"http:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/SITE-1024x577.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/SITE-1024x577.png 1024w, https:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/SITE-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/SITE-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/SITE.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\"><a>To identify funding requests for cultural institutions and projects the CSI in partnership with the Economic Development Agency PPV Knowledge Networks held meetings with representatives of Lviv&#8217;s cultural environment (artists, curators, gallery owners, cultural institutions, cultural managers, formal and non-formal education).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"http:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ZVIT-PRO-ROBOCHI-ZUSTRICHI.pdf\"> Report for the culture stakeholders meetings<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/isc.lviv.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ZVIT-PRO-ROBOCHI-ZUSTRICHI.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>\u0417\u0430\u0432\u0430\u043d\u0442\u0430\u0436\u0438\u0442\u0438<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>There has also been a study of cultural funding at local level in Ukraine and abroad (Varna, Eindhoven, Lyon, Newcastle, Wroclaw, Aarhus). This experience will be useful for developing mechanisms for the Fund&#8217;s work.
