Tartu — a new point, a new city on our partnership map! The Cultural Strategy Institute has signed the Memorandum on Cooperation with The Foundation Tartu 2024!
The Foundation Tartu 2024 was established by the City of Tartu to prepare the European Capital of Culture program (ECoC). This year, the Estonian city holds the prestigious title — Tartu 2024 ECoC — and, together with local and international partners, implements a program full of cultural events! The Foundation is a leader in the development and implementation of the ECoC program.
The memorandum signed by Kuldar Leis, CEO of The Foundation Tartu 2024, and Yuliia Khomchyn, head of the CSI, designates the mutual desire and intention of the parties to develop Ukrainian-Estonian relations and partnerships in the field of culture. It is about consolidating efforts and supporting interaction and networking between people and cultural institutions of Tartu and Lviv, Estonia, and Ukraine.
This is an opportunity for our cities and countries to become more visible, to get to know each other better through culture, and to comprehend current processes in culture and society.
